The information below is a summary of what has been disclosed to date, not much detail at this early stage.
A320 Works programme – FIRST PHASE - St Peter’s Way Roundabout
Mobilisation and site clearance will commence mid- February, followed by phase one of the improvement works themselves from mid-March.
The initial enabling works will include site clearance activities at St Peters Roundabout and, eastwards along St Peters Way East towards the M25 junction 11.
Over the coming weeks a works compound will be established on the east side of the A320 near St Peters Way East in a field adjacent to the highway.
It is expected that the work on the St Peters Way roundabout, will be complete late summer.
NEXT PHASES - to follow sequentially, at the Green Lane/Holloway Hill junction and then M25 junction 11.
OTTERSHAW ROUNDABOUT - Some of the early off-carriageway works will be carried out in Ottershaw in the autumn this year, to prepare for the main construction of the new Ottershaw roundabout later in the delivery programme.
All works programme updates, including both immediate and longer-term works, will be shared with you once they have been finalised and posted on the contractor’s dedicated scheme website. We are told there will be a link to this from the project page on the Surrey County Council website.
