Ottershaw Neighbourhood Forum have submitted this ePetition to SCC:
We the undersigned petition Surrey County Council to Redesign the Ottershaw Roundabout to provide a solution to the current flawed design. AND to have a full and meaningful public engagement on a revised design presented in a new planning application.

THE INITIAL 'OTTER' ROUNDABOUT PLANS WERE MADE WITH ABSOLUTELY NO CONSULTATION WITH LOCAL RESIDENTS AND YOU WILL NOT BE SURPRISED TO HEAR THAT SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL AND THEIR CONTRACTORS HAVE NOT ENGAGED WITH LOCAL RESIDENTS GROUPS WHO ARE KEEN TO MINIMISE IMPACT AND TO MAKE POSITIVE CHANGE TO BENEFIT OTTERSHAW RESIDENTS.
Fundamentally we will all be hit with a new roundabout - which will probably not resolve A320 traffic issues, however if we push for a redesign and re-approval, we could affect issues which include.
Veteran Trees and hedgerows will be lost - they can be saved.
Local traffic congestion will not be resolved - an increase is more likely!
Cycling and pedestrian routes will be drastically reduced
There will be no A320 crossing north of the roundabout
Drainage ponds close to the village centre will become stagnant muddy eyesores without proper design.
OWARA wholeheartedly support the Neighbourhood Forum and other residents groups who are working hard for local residents. Please support the petition and also try to attend local initiatives in the coming weeks.
